Current Job Openings at Directions for Youth & Families

Directions for Youth & Families provides community-based treatment and prevention services and educational programs in Franklin County.

 

Candidates must be effective in providing group, individual, and/or family services with culturally diverse youth and adults, addressing issues such as substance abuse, delinquency, abuse/neglect, and domestic violence. Most services are provided using an outreach model in homes, schools, and community locations convenient to the client.

Positions include social workers, counselors, prevention specialists, therapists, case managers, and outreach workers. All program positions require a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field. Depending on the position, and LSW/LPC, LISW, LPCC, or CCDC credential may be required.

Looking for energetic, dedicated persons to provide assessment & counseling services to youth in a school and home-based setting. Minimum requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field and current licensure as a social worker or counselor. Two years experience working with youth and their families preferred.

The agency's central office, located in the University District, was constructed in 1999 and includes a fully equipped fitness center, free parking, and a state-of-the-art working environment.
